A gift for youth
Kimberley Fine Diamonds has donated $2720 to the youth of Kununurra. The money was raised at its recent no-expenses-spared Christmas get together. |
Items such a helicopter-fishing trip with West Coast Eagles stars Ben Cousins and Michael Gardiner, football shirts signed by the pair, signed footballs and a painting by Jeannette Dyson were auctioned to raise the money. Kimberley Fine Diamonds owner Frauke Bolten-Boshammer said she believed people had to support the youth of Kununurra. |
Half of the money will go to providing more facilities at the skateboard facility in White Gum Park (perhaps a drinking fountain) and the other half to the Magpies Football Club. Shire President Barbara Johnson praised Frauke's efforts and thanked her on behalf of the community. |
