New regional manager
The Kimberley has a new regional manager for tourism. The WA Tourism Commission has appointed an officer to work with the industry on regional marketing and industry development. WA Tourism Commission chief executive officer Richard Muirhead congratulated Evan Boys on his appointment as Kimberley regional manager. |
"Mr Boys brings to the role extensive experience in small business, hospitality management, marketing, and business and project development," Mr Muirhead said. Mr Boys will work in partnership with the Kimberley Development Commission and the WA Tourism Commission to deliver to regional areas a unified approach to tourism development. |
"The main focus of the role is to work with key stakeholders to develop and facilitate new tourism infrastructure and assist in improving existing tourism facilities and operations," Mr Muirhead said. Mr Boys was previously with the Kimberley Accommodation Group where he was responsible for the financial control and management of the group's diverse business ventures throughout the Kimberley. He will be located in Broome. |
