Double fatal accident

Police believe speed and alcohol may have contributed to the deaths of two 15-year-old youths in Warmun.

In the early hours of last Friday, a Holden Commodore with four people on board, slammed into a power pole in the area of Warmun known as Bottom Camp.

The two dead youths were flung from the vehicle on impact.

The 18-year-old driver was unhurt, but police removed him from the community for his own safety.

The front seat passenger, a 14-year-old youth, received only minor injuries.

Two Halls Creek police assisted two Argyle officers at the accident scene.

WA Police Major Crash Unit investigators and Argyle police are continuing investigations into what led to the accident.
