Police believe speed and alcohol may have contributed to the deaths of two 15-year-old youths in Warmun. In the early hours of last Friday, a Holden Commodore with four people on board, slammed into a power pole in the area of Warmun known as Bottom Camp. The two dead youths were flung from the vehicle on impact. |
The 18-year-old driver was unhurt, but police removed him from the community for his own safety. The front seat passenger, a 14-year-old youth, received only minor injuries. |
Two Halls Creek police assisted two Argyle officers at the accident scene. WA Police Major Crash Unit investigators and Argyle police are continuing investigations into what led to the accident. |
