Kununurra Trihards and the Kununurra Leisure Centre will host the 'Trianything Games' on December 4. The Trihards say the purpose of the games is to show that they are not all 'blood, sweat and tears'. They have lined up a program of events that will not only be plenty of fun for competitors but should be very entertaining to watch. |
The Trihards are running it as a 'corporate cup' and are looking for 10 teams to compete. There will be 10 different events ranging from egg and spoon races to tyre-paddling. To be able to compete, people must be strong swimmers, as some events will be in the deep end of the Kununurra Swimming Pool. There will be a shield for the winners. |
The Trihards will have a sausage sizzle at the end of the games for the price of a gold coin donation. Drinks will also be on for sale. Businesses that can field a team should register at the Leisure Centre as soon as possible, as the competition is definitely limited to 10 teams. |
