Luke strides forward

Kununurra athlete Luke Devenish is continuing to rack up the medals and honours in Perth.

He has just equalled a 25-year-old Scotch College school record in the 100-metres hurdles.

He also came first in the Quads Athletics Carnival at Perry Lakes and first in the Inter-school Athletics Carnival at Perry Lakes.

Back at school, he has won Colours and Honours athletics awards.

Luke was one of only 18 boys to receive honours at Scotch College this year.

He has been selected to represent WA at the All Schools National Championships at Homebush Stadium in Sydney from December 9 to 13.

Needless to say, his mother, local librarian Anne Devenish is 'over the moon.'
