The Kimberley Fine Diamonds annual party and exhibition continued in ittradition of being the Kununurra social event of the year on Saturday night. About 150 people from a broad range of the community packed into the display room and portico of the shop in Konkerberry Drive. They enjoyed the massive display of jewellery, homeware and giftware. The crowd was also treated to an exhibition of the artwork of Kununurra artist Rebecca Ellett. Westcoast Eagles football star Michael Gardiner and Brownlow Medal runner up Daniel Kerr were on hand and signed autographs for appreciative fans. The auction of a trip and a signed Westcoast Eagles football raised $1020, which will be spent on junior sport in Kununurra. Kimberley Fine Diamonds owner Frauke Bolton-Boshammer was very pleased with the way the event went off and said she had thoroughly enjoyed the night. A large crew kept the drink flowing and food circulating amongst the happy crowd.
