Shire of Wyndham-East Kimberley executive manager of engineering and development services Steven Chadwick has had his bail conditions changed to allow him to travel.
The 41-year-old appeared via video link with a Perth magistrate on October 31.
Chadwick is facing 28 charges of aggravated sexual penetration without consent.
The charges relate to a period from August 6, 2005 through to May 31, 2006.
He has pleaded not guilty to the charges and has been remanded to appear in the District Court in Kununurra on January 15.
His original bail conditions were $25,000 with a $25,000 surety and to report to police three times a week.
The reporting condition has now been removed to allow him to travel with his family.
