Friends and family gathered at the Ski Beach last Saturday afternoon to help celebrate Craig Dobson's 40th birthday.
The party was not without it's share of small dramas, with the organised bus not turning up to transport party goers from town and the hastily borrowed replacement bus having a flat tyre.
Then there was the small issue of a storm that dumped a fair amount of rain on the party, and the birthday cake, and the presents.
Not to be outdone, as soon as the rain stopped, the retic sprinklers started, much to the delight of the children present.
The sudden downpour kept the evening cool enough to enjoy the outdoor setting.
The guest list included fellow farmers and industry workers and special guests 'the cousins', who travelled from three States to help celebrate.
Add to that 120 litres of the famous Dobson Punch, and revellers raged on till sun-up. |
