The Kununurra Chamber of Commerce and Industry held its last 'Business After Hours' function for the year at the Country Club on Friday. Airnorth's sales, marketing and contracts manager David Gooch was one of the speakers and announced the introduction of a new jet to the company's fleet of turbo-prop aircraft (see separate story this edition). Maria Bolten-Magnay spoke of the role of the Small Business Centre East Kimberley and Murray Harrison from the Country Housing Authority spoke of the benefits his organisation could deliver to the East Kimberley and the extent of money available. Jay Clifford gave an update on the Argyle Diamonds Ord Valley Muster preparations. Former Muster coordinator and chamber executive officer Leanne O'Shea was presented with a mystery gift in recognition of her service to the chamber.
