Carols a success

Kununurra's Carols By Candlelight on Sunday night attracted a sizable audience to the Kununurra District High School.

Relatively cool conditions helped keep those in attendance comfortable.

Children enjoyed games before St Josephs School presented a very well performed Nativity play.

The costumes for this were superb and the school's recent theatrical success was evident in the way the children presented their roles.

One young (and obviously seasoned) performer stated afterwards that he thought the presentation had been shorter and smoother than the last rehearsal.

It was then time for carols and the occasional longish sermon.
