The big wind took out a tree and left this house at a peculiar angle. A big storm in Wyndham, last Thursday night, delivered little rain, but damaging winds. A house, in the process of being renovated, on the Great Northern Highway came off second best when a large tree was uprooted and fell against it. The house had already been practically gutted to eliminate white ants. A couple of Wyndham wits have dobbed it the 'lean-to' house and said architects were often paid large sums of money to build houses on an angle, but one storm in Wyndham could achieve the same outcome.
