Kununurra woman dies

A Kununurra mental health worker, on her way to a new life in Perth, died when her car went out of control.

The accident happened on the North West Coastal Highway, north of Carnarvon on December 10.

Police believe the car went off the road into gravel and the driver over corrected, causing the car to roll.

It is believed a passing motorist raised the alarm, but the woman was already dead.

Her name has not been released for cultural reasons.
