Former Shire of Wyndham-East Kimberley executive manager of engineering and development services Steven Chadwick has been remanded again for another 'status conference' on May 1.
This means the defence and prosecution advise whether they are both ready to proceed.
The 41-year-old has pleaded 'not guilty' to 28 rape charges in the Perth District Court.
Chadwick faces the charges over his alleged dealings with his then 20-year-old daughter Danielle during his time in Kununurra.
His remand conditions include bail of $25,000 with an additional $25,000 surety and an order not to contact his daughter.
