This year's Dam to Dam was an outstanding success with non-stop entertainment throughout the day.
The Kununurra Ski Club grounds were in excellent condition for people to spread out in the shade and enjoy a raft of entertainment.
Stunt skiing, aerial manoeuvres on the manta ray, children's skiing pyramids, a display of water bombing Heliwork pilot Tim Anders, the arrival of the Dam to Dam racers, Gecko paddle racing, children's events and more meant the program just kept ploughing ahead.
For Rob Storey and his hard-working committee it was a major achievement.
Race results were: Fastest Formula time (overall winners): John and Ann Storey with a 15-horse power and a formula time of 1:06:34; Fastest 25hp: Ben Melvin and Callum with a time of 1:13:27; Fastest 15hp: Robert Henggler and Danehl Helge with a time of 1:15:50; Fastest Family: David Heidke and Jordan Heidke with a time of 1:18:10; Fastest Heaviest: Wayne Freer, Damien Antoine and Brett Sutton.
The 'Dragon Boat' with Peter and Rachel Evans and Emily Gillespie won the Best Dressed section.
