Massive Muster underway

Last year's Muster was a great success - this year's is promising to be even bigger and better.

This year's Argyle Diamonds Ord Valley Muster kicks off tomorrow with the Kununurra Arts Council Street Party centred around Papuana Street and Coolibah Drive.

It will be the first of a massive number of events to pack the two and a half-week program.

Other feature events include Muster Idol at the Hotel Kununurra, St Joseph's School Fete, Steve Grace in Concert, the Station Challenge Rodeo, Sharing Our Stories, the Station Challenge Rodeo, KATS Variety Night, various tours of the Ord Valley, stations and surrounding areas, the Bush Magic Film Festival, the Lovell Gallery art appreciation evening, Windstrokes, Garnduwa Basketball Carnival, numerous markets, the Argyle Diamonds Barramundi Concert, East Kimberley Tours and Rotary 4WD Adventure Bash, the Gibb River Road Mountain Bike Challenge, Music Under the Stars, Cooking Master Class with Chris Taylor, the JSW Ord Valley Muster Moto X Classic and, of course, the feature event - the Airnorth Kimberley Moon Experience.

This year, the Moon Experience will have a star-studded list of performers headed up by Marcia Hines along with the Australian Army Band, Desert Child, Peace Love and All That Stuff and numerous local performers.

Returning as compere for the evening will be Kimberley devotee James Blundell.

The corporate section for the evening has long since been sold out and organisers are expecting more than 2500 people to attend the concert.

A free program of events is available from numerous retail outlets around Kununurra.
