This year's Argyle Diamonds Ord Valley Muster is off to an excellent start with plenty of participation in this week's events.
The Kununurra Arts Council Street Party packed Papuana Street, with people eager to buy from the numerous stalls.
St Joseph's School Fete was also an outstanding success with plenty of stalls and a load of entertainment.
The Station Challenge Rodeo attracted a big crowd for the rodeo as well as country and western star Adam Harvey.
The Argyle Diamond Dig packed out the boat ramp end of Celebrity Tree Park with children and adults eager to dig out the numerous prizes.
Other feature events that have taken place, are in progress or are still to come include Muster Idol at the Hotel Kununurra, Sharing Our Stories, various tours of the Ord Valley, stations and surrounding areas, the Bush Magic Film Festival, the Lovell Gallery art appreciation evening, Windstrokes, Garnduwa Basketball Carnival, numerous markets, the Argyle Diamonds Barramundi Concert, East Kimberley Tours and Rotary 4WD Adventure Bash, the Gibb River Road Mountain Bike Challenge, Music Under the Stars, Cooking Master Class with Chris Taylor, the JSW Ord Valley Muster Moto X Classic and, of course, the feature event - the Airnorth Kimberley Moon Experience.
This year, the Moon Experience will have a star-studded list of performers headed up by Marcia Hines along with the Australian Army Band, Desert Child, Peace Love and All That Stuff and numerous local performers.
Returning as compere for the evening will be Kimberley devotee James Blundell.
