Kimberley Toad Busters (KTB) are national finalists in the Banksia Environment Awards.
The volunteer group has reached the finals of the Banksia Community Award and the Banksia Land and Biodiversity Award.
Winners will be announced on July 19 or 20 at the Sydney Exhibition and Convention Centre.
More than 30 percent of the Kununurra community - and even the Wyndham Prison camp - is now signed up for toadbusting.
There are now more than 200 trained KTB leaders and educators based in Kununurra and Perth.
KTB previously won the WA State Government Environment Award of Community of The Year.
