Witnesses for missing boy
KUNUNURRA detectives have called for witnesses to help find a missing three-year-old boy.
Detectives say they are treating seriously unconfirmed sightings of missing Perth toddler Imran Zilic, who was last reported seen in Timber Creek on April 25.
The boy’s father Aliya Zilic has refused to co-operate with detectives since being picked up alone, in Kununurra last week.
Kununurra Det. Snr Const. Grant Barber said any information regarding the boy, car (dark blue Nissan Dualis) or father should be reported immediately.
Detectives believe he drove through the centre of Australia before driving down from the NT to Kununurra on April 25.
“I urge the public to report any sightings of the boy, his father or the car whilst travelling to Kununurra,” Detective Snr. Const Barber said.
Mr Zilic is currently being held in custody in Perth under a mental health order but no charges have been laid over the boy’s disappearance.
Any information should be reported to Kununurra detectives on 9166 4530 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
