ARCHIVES

The history of a town can be followed by reading the newspapers of the day - We here at the Kimberley Echo have maintained electronic archives of the front page articles since February 2002 and feature articles since 21 November 2002.

Full paper copies
Printed copies can be viewed at the JS Battye Library in Central Perth, the Kimberley Echo Office or at the Kununurra Historical Society in Kununurra.

In the Battye Library ask for ISSN 0159-7701 which is available on the 3rd Floor, at the Battye Newspaper Stack number 994.14/KIM. Included in their collection are Vol. 1, no. 1 (28 Apr 1980) to Vol. 2, no. 54 (11 Oct 1982)which are filed as a serial. From 25 Oct. 1982 to the present day they are filed as a newspaper.
